Brunswick Hotel is a trading name of Fancy Hotels Ltd. (subsequently referred to as ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’). We are registered in England No 12132833.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidence and trust of our customers, guests and visitors to our website. We do not disclose, sell, rent or trade any information held to third parties.
Information that we collect
Details that you provide to us, for example, when making a booking enquiry by telephone, post, email or via our websites are held securely and not shared with third parties. Any details passed to us by third parties such as Expedia, Booking.com etc are also held securely.
Upon check in you are required by law, to fill in a registration form that contain such details as address, car registration passport details (overseas guests only) and you will be requested to indicate whether you wish to receive any promotional items from us and by which means you would like to receive it. You can of course opt for no contact and to have your details deleted at any time, although your booking history will remain with us for as long as legally required. If you opt for no contact or deletion you will not be contacted by us in the future. We may also collect information such as room preferences, allergies or access requirements to enable us to ensure we offer you the best service we can.
How we use your information
We may use your information for the following purposes;
• To make, confirm or amend a reservation.
• To book a car ferry crossing.
• To take payment for services and goods.
• To send promotional material, special offers, & Christmas cards.
How we store and transmit Data
We store customer information and reservation details on our reservation system. The system is hosted by a third-party service provider which is Hotel Perfect. We also hold letters and any correspondence in secure filling cabinets, which is moved to secure storage once your stay is completed. No financial information is stored by us once any outstand payments have been processed and we follow the payment card industry data security standards (PCI DSS) to keep your details secure and we take no online payments directly from our own booking site.
How we view, track and use data collected on our website
Website cookies
A cookie is a small file used to store small amounts of data information to enable traffic analysis, but do not hold any personal details.
Website links
We do have links to other third-party websites on our pages (places of interest, route mapping etc) We have no control over the content of other sites nor the usage of information they gather. We always advise that you look at their privacy policies.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect internet usage information. They use cookies to help analyse how the users use the site. The only personal information collected is the IP address. This information is not able to identify anyone. Any information we use is to help improve the navigation and use of our website by providing content that is useful and relevant to our customers.
Third parties
We pass no personal data to other companies or individuals, other than if you request us to book a car ferry. If you do the only details we pass to either WightLink or Red Funnel, would be your Name, Number of persons travelling, your car registration. They also have privacy policy that you can view.

We do our best to make sure that any data held by us is correct and up to date. Use of site by children
Our website and online booking services are not intended for use by children (under 18 years old).

We are constantly reviewing our website, terms of business and policies to keep them accurate and up to date.
Access
There are several entrances into the hotel ~ The front entrance to reception is reached by 20 steps. Alternatively there is a ramped entrance just to the side of the building which also brings you into the reception area. Finally there is a ramped entrance heading from the small additional car park at the rear of the hotel. This entrance brings you into the hotel on the first floor, which is serviced by the lift. This entrance can be made available to you once you have checked into the hotel, please let us know at the time of booking. Please Note that due to the internal layout of the hotel there are a few steps to all the public areas and along most corridors.
